Dr. Peter Kilgenstein was born in Edelbach, Germany, on October 27, 1954. He is married and has two sons.
He is engineer for fluid dynamics and received his PhD from the TU Darmstadt in 1984. In 1985, he joined Robert Bosch in Germany. Dr. Kilgenstein is leading the automotive sales of Bosch in China since January 2005.

1985  -  Robert Bosch in Stuttgart
             Assignments in engineering and project management of ABS and ESP

1993  -  Robert Bosch Corporation in Detroit
        Responsible for the automotive engineering of Bosch in the US including
        Engine Management Systems, airbag control, brakes, ABS and ESP

1997  -  Robert Bosch in Reutlingen
        In the board of the Automotive Electronics Division of Bosch, in charge of
        worldwide sales and engineering for airbag control systems, transmission 
        control and body electronics

1999  -  Board Member of ZF Lenksysteme (ZF Steering Systems)

             Introduction of EPS and development of the first Active Steering worldwide
2003 -    Robert Bosch Headquarter in Germany, leading Automotive Marketing

2005  -  Bosch (China) Investment Ltd., Executive Vice President for OE Sales
